"God did not take woman from man’s foot so that he would trample her. Nor, did He take her from the hand for man to abuse her. Neither did He take her from the head that she should rule over him. But, God took a rib from man’s side, near his heart that she should walk beside him, that they would walk together in unity for the good of the family."

Count Your Blessings

When upon life's billows You are tempest tossed
When you are discouraged, Thinking all is lost
Count your many blessings, Name them one by one
And it will suprise you What the Lord has done.

Count your blessings, Name them one by one
Count your blessings, See what God has done
Count your blessings, Name them one by one
Count your many blessings, See what God has done.

Are you ever burdened With a load of care?
Does the cross seem heavy You are called to bear?
Count your many blessings, Ev'ry doubt will fly
And you will be singing As the days go by.

When you look at others With their lands and gold
Think that Christ has promised You His wealth untold
Count your many blessings, Money cannot buy
Your reward in heaven, Nor your home on high.

So, amid the conflict, Whether great or small
Do not be discouraged, God is over all
Count your many blessings, Angels will attend
Help and comfort give you To your journey's end.

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Titus 2:13 ...
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious
appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ.

John 4:23 -
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him.
John 8:45 - And because I tell you the truth, ye believe Me not.

Proverbs 23:5 ...
Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? for riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven.
"The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched. They must be felt within the heart."

.... Helen Keller ....

Romans 2:29 ...

But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Psalms 39:5 ...

"... verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah".

Christians live in the interim between D-Day, the Divine assault on sin at the cross that sealed the enemy's defeat, and V-Day, the final vanquishing of every foe at the resurrection. The daily battles we fight against the world, the flesh & the devil continue, but final victory is already ours through the Lord Jesus Christ. V-Day is assured because D-Day is a fact.

Luke 18:10-14

Two men went up into the temple to pray ; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess . And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying , God be merciful to me a sinner. I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased ; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted .

James 1:13-14

Let no man say when he is tempted , I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth He any man: But every man is tempted , when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

2 Timothy 4:3

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

Psalm 62:7

A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.

Proverbs 12:10

In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

Psalm 37:12

The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth.
