"Revelation 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty."

A new year is upon us and we may expect some changes as well as some changes that we do not expect. Some folks thrive on change while others long for the constancy of their lives. This text gives us much assurance as it tells us about the eternal truth of the nature of God. He is the beginning, as we read in Genesis 1:1 and He is the end as we read in Revelation 22:13. Alpha is the first letter of the Greek alphabet and Omega is the last letter. This verse also teaches a great lesson about the eternity of God. He is from everlasting to everlasting. If you have ever wondered where God came from, I will tell you this, He didnít come from anywhere, He has always been. God is eternal and was in the beginning of time and will be there in the end of time. More tomorrow ...... Freddy Boen
